How PermitDesk handles account, workspace, job, permit, inspection, document, billing, and support information.

Effective June 11, 2026

PermitDesk is a contractor operations tool for tracking permits, inspections, blocked jobs, customer updates, documents, and follow-up actions. This policy explains what information the service handles and how it is used.

Information PermitDesk Handles

  • Account details such as name, email address, login status, and team role.
  • Workspace details such as business name, trade, service area, city preference, and customer update cadence.
  • Job records such as customer names, addresses, permit numbers, inspection records, blockers, action items, notes, documents, activity logs, and exports.
  • Billing status, plan, Stripe customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, and invoice or portal access metadata.
  • Support messages you send to PermitDesk or TideFill.
  • Technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication cookies, security logs, and basic request metadata.

How Information Is Used

  • To provide dashboards, job records, reports, imports, exports, reminders, account access, and team workflows.
  • To authenticate users, protect workspaces, troubleshoot issues, and prevent misuse.
  • To process subscriptions and billing through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing portal tools.
  • To respond to support requests and product questions.
  • To improve the reliability, usability, and security of PermitDesk.

Service Providers

PermitDesk uses service providers to operate the product. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; Stripe for payment processing and subscription management; and hosting or infrastructure providers used to run the website. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly in PermitDesk.

Sharing

PermitDesk does not sell workspace data. Information may be shared with service providers that help run the product, when required by law, to protect the service, or at the direction of the workspace owner or authorized users.

Customer and Job Data

Users decide what customer, job, permit, inspection, and document information to enter. Avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, personal financial account details, medical information, or other information not needed for permit and inspection tracking.

Security and Retention

PermitDesk uses authentication, workspace-level access controls, private document storage, and hosted infrastructure security features to protect data. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Workspace data is kept while the account or workspace remains active unless deleted, erased, or otherwise required to be retained for legitimate business, legal, billing, or security purposes.

Your Choices

Users can update workspace settings, export records, cancel billing, erase a workspace, delete an account, and request help by contacting grady@tidefill.tech. Privacy rights may vary by location. Requests will be reviewed according to applicable law and account ownership controls.

Children

PermitDesk is intended for business use and is not directed to children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as PermitDesk changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
